Board Members

Ms. Kelly has over 30 years experience in early childhood education Ms. Kelly has worked in every genre of early childhood. After being a home provider for over twelve years Ms. Kelly decided to branch out and open up a learning center in the City of Detroit. Ms. Kelly has a  passion for helping children and youth. Having a passion for youth has allowed Ms. Kelly to start a nonprofit organization called Ms. Mary’s Angels youth organization. This organization offers mentoring,financial literacy as well as onsite childcare for organizations throughout the City of Detroit. Ms. Kelly Currently holds a B.S in Early Childhood Studies, Currently a Member of NAEYC as well as a childcare consultant  to several other centers. 

Mr. Burks has over 20 years’ experience has a mentor for youth throughout the city of Detroit. Graduating from Cooley High School in 1993, Mr. Burks saw early on the need for helping young boy’s thrive and learn basic life skills to become productive citizens in the city of Detroit. This soon became a passion of his being a young father he realized the hard work it takes to raise a son as well as maintaining a career. Mr. Burks soon began volunteering in different organisations to offer opportunities to youth that he did not have. His experience expands from internships, family service worker, mentoring for Palmer Park Academy as well as a coach and mentor for the Pal Football League. 

Mrs.Vickie is currently an office manager at Detroit Achievement Academy. She has over 20 years’ experience in Office Management. Mrs. Hines has a passion for education, organization, children and families. Mrs. Vickie will bring her exceptional organization skills and love for families to our organization.

Mr. Asad Founder & President of Amari’s Mentoring Program. Amari’s mentoring provides mentoring programs for organizations & provide personal mentoring/life coaching all over Michigan and other states as well. Amari is a graduate of Dowling College in Oakdale New York, where he received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Business Management & BA in Social Work with a minor in Education. After graduation, Amari decided to do some traveling where we discovered that he had a story to tell and he wanted to motivate people with his story! Amari understood that “knowledge of self is the key to your success in life” this way of thinking help Mr. Asad become who he is today, a Motivational Speaker.
